Customs inspection (inspection) is carried out in the following cases:
Launch of a random sampling method or risk profile in an automated risk management system that involves conducting a customs inspection;
The presence of the stamp "ITC control suspicious" placed on the right side of the X-ray images printed on the results of customs control carried out by the sending Customs body using ITC, and / or the presence of information requiring a customs inspection of the information systems of state revenue bodies;
Availability of information on potential risks (routes) from law enforcement and special state bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter referred to as the EAEU) or foreign countries where there are international agreements on the exchange of information for customs purposes, the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Before conducting a customs inspection, an authorized official, if these persons are known, shall notify the declarant or other person authorized to relate to the goods of the place and time of the customs inspection, in any way that allows confirming the fact of receipt of the notification.
If the submitted goods are located on a specially equipped site equipped for customs inspection, in premises intended for temporary storage, or in the customs control zone of the state revenue body, where the authorized official conducts the customs inspection, the authorized official makes a decision to start the customs inspection (inspection).

When carrying out loading and unloading operations, it is possible to stop video filming in accordance with the explanation of the authorized official carrying out the customs inspection. When stopping and resuming the customs inspection, the authorized official must state the exact time when the customs inspection was stopped (resumed).
Customs inspection (inspection) is carried out to the extent and extent established by the risk profile. It is not allowed to change the volume and degree of customs inspection (inspection).
